Safari!!!!!

After the Bridge we then went to a safari nature reserve and had the best day yet!

Me and Courtney held a baby lion cub -

After this we then went to a crocodile show -

And then an elephant show. At the elephant show I got an elephant "massage" (which we have on video). I lay on the floor and the elephant hovered his foot over me and kept pressing on my stomach!! It was insane!

Then finally we got onto a safari bus and went round to feed all the animals...

^ happiest giraffe ever on the left!

Then finally we went back to the big cat area and saw Blue the huge female tiger that let you take photos with her, unfortunately as me and Courtney had already paid to see the lion cub we didn't bother getting a photo with blue but other people in our group did...

River Kwai Bridge

This morning we took a taxi truck to the bridge over the River Kwai in Kananchaburi. We walked over the bridge and then sat down for lunch on the river...

7/11!

So in Thailand the main supermarket is called 7/11 and it is basically the best shop ever invented.
Today we went and walked to a 7/11 that was about 20 minutes away from our hotel; I bought 4 massive bags of crisps, 2 toasties, strawberry pocky and 2 snack crackers for just over £2. We buy everything from there it's so cool. They have a toastie machine behind the counter and you buy the uncooked toastie and then they cook it for you for 25baht (50p).

(I would take pictures in there but they have a no photo policy)

Thai cooking lesson

This morning we learnt how to cook 3 Thai dishes- pad thai, Tom Yum soup an chicken cashew nut...

Later we are going for a traditional thai meal in kananchaburi.

Erawan National Park and Waterfalls

Today we travelled to Erawan National Park to climb tthe waterfall tiers. It took about 40 minutes by taxi (the taxi is like a truck with no top and seats at the back).

The walk to the top took about an hour but was well worth it. It's about 30 degrees here now so it was a pretty brutal walk!

Tomorrow we are having a Thai cooking session, making Pad Thai and Tom yu soup or something like that.

Kananchaburi

Checked into our hotel today in Kananchaburi after a 3 hour drive. We are in a small village but the hotel is really cool!

I have wifi for the next 5 days hopefully :-)
