On the way to Phnom Penh

This morning we checked out of our hostel and left our big bags in the lobby, before heading into Siem Reap for an early lunch. We stumbled across a small restaurant called Little Italy, which might be the best Italian food we have ever eaten (yes Dad, better than Pollo Piaziolo!).

Courtney found herself her new #1 bolognse, as well as delicious bruschetta; I had an awesome homemade gnocchi carbonara with flame grilled bell peppers!

We are still here sitting in the restaurant, debating on whether a creme brûlée is a good idea or not, but for $2.50 how can we resist?! (£1.60)! This evening we will travel to Phnom Penh via an overnight bus, with a company called Giant Ibis. This bus will take roughly 8hours and departs at 10.30pm, we get a bed each and a pillow and blanket; our first night bus, wish us luck!

A quick update on yesterday's events... We got fruit shakes and read or book/magazine by the river!

And we are a kilo of Rambutan fruit!

^yesterdays epic breakfast- steak, chicken, sausage, hash brown and tomato!
